1 – Introduction

These conditions of sale are intended to define the contractual relationship between LJ Shop, the buyer and the conditions applicable to any purchase made through the LJ Shop merchant site, whether the buyer is professional or private. The acquisition of a product through this site implies unreserved acceptance by the buyer of these conditions of sale.

These conditions of sale shall prevail over any other general or specific conditions not expressly approved by LJ Shop.

LJ Shop may modify its conditions of sale at any time. In this case, the applicable conditions will be those in force on the date of the order.

2 – Characteristics of the goods offered

The products offered are those that appear in the catalog published on the LJ Shop website, the photographs in the catalog are as accurate as possible but cannot ensure perfect similarity with the product offered.

3 – Prices

The prices listed in the catalog are prices in Swiss francs.

For customers in Switzerland there will never be any hidden costs such as customs or other.

For customers outside Switzerland there may be (depending on the value ordered) customs fees payable by the customer.

LJ Shop reserves the right to change prices at any time, it being understood, however, that the price appearing in the catalog on the day of the order will be the only one applicable to the buyer.

4 – Payments

The possible means of payment are:

5 – Secure payment

LJ Shop has chosen secure PostFinance, TWINT and PayPal payments for your purchases on www.ljshop.ch.
PostFinance uses modern EV-SSL certificates and 256-bit encryption to ensure secure data transfer.
PAYPAL is secured by SSL encryption (Secure Socket Layer) with 128-bit decryption in order to more effectively protect all data related to means of payment. The information relating to your bank card (number, expiry date and visual cryptogram of the card) is sent directly to PostFinance and PAYPAL and at no time is transmitted unencrypted on the Internet network.
LJ Shop has no knowledge of your bank details and does not store them.

6 – Deliveries and deadlines

We use Swiss Post for deliveries and ship in priority mode and without signature.

As a general rule, all products in stock are dispatched within 24 hours by priority mail.

Delivery times for pre-ordered products vary.

Our logistics department in cooperation with La Poste offers good delivery times for goods, thus making it possible to deliver to the customer in less than 48 working hours. However, any possible delay by La Poste is beyond our control and we are not responsible for these possible delays. We commit ourselves to ship your products within 24 hours except for exceptions such as closing for holidays. If this is the case you will be informed on our site.

Parcel drop-off at the door

In case of absence, the Post Office can leave the parcel at the front door. If you do not want them to do this, you can contact them in advance by telephone or e-mail (tel. 0848 888 888, e-mail kundendienst@post.ch). The corresponding changes are then saved in the Swiss Post system.

We decline all responsibility in the event of theft.

7 – Pre-orders

7a – Pre-orders

Pre-orders offer our customers the possibility to reserve and acquire products before their official availability or stocking. By placing a pre-order, you secure the acquisition of a highly anticipated item, in limited quantity or simply one you would like to have, ensuring that you are among the first to benefit from it upon its release or availability. It is a privileged opportunity for enthusiasts and collectors to secure their purchases in advance.

7b – Unforeseen Pre-Orders

It is important to note that despite all our efforts to satisfy our customers, pre-orders may be subject to unforeseen events. We rely on the timelines of our distributors, suppliers, and postal services for product delivery. Consequently, it may happen that certain pre-orders are canceled due to logistical constraints or supply issues. Additionally, although we take all necessary precautions to ensure careful and secure handling, it is possible for packages to arrive damaged upon receipt at our premises.


All these unforeseen events can have an impact on the order, potentially resulting in a reduction of available stock or even, in some cases, cancellation of the pre-order. Furthermore, please note that gifts added during pre-orders will be shipped only once all pre-ordered products are available in our premises.


Orders containing pre-ordered products will be shipped in their entirety once all items are in stock. However, partial shipments can be arranged upon request, but additional shipping costs will be borne by the customer.


In any case, our team is available to handle each case and request, ensuring the best possible shopping experience for our customers.

7c – Pre-Order Cancellation Policy

Due to the specific nature of pre-orders and the commitments made to our suppliers and distributors, pre-orders unfortunately cannot be canceled once they have been confirmed and paid for. This policy aims to ensure fair stock management and to avoid potential harm caused by late cancellation of pre-orders, which can impact our supply chain and the satisfaction of our entire customer base. Therefore, we encourage you to carefully consider before placing a pre-order and to contact us if you have any questions or need further assistance before finalizing your order.

 

By placing a pre-order, you acknowledge having read, understood and accepted these general conditions of sale relating to pre-orders. For any further questions or clarifications, please contact us.

8 – Returns

Discounted or pre-ordered items will not be returned or exchanged.

Returns are processed as listed below:

8a – The buyer has a withdrawal period of 7 days from receipt of his order to return the goods to LJ Shop.

In the event that the customer wishes to change or return his product, the customer must return the goods completely closed and undamaged. Return costs will be borne by the customer.

The shipping costs of CHF 7.90 will be withheld even if the customer took advantage of free delivery.

In the event of unsuccessful delivery due to an incorrect address or refusal of the package, the return costs invoiced by the post office will not be refunded to the customer.

If the payment was made via Swissbilling or Paypal, the payment costs are not refunded.

8b – In the event of a defect in the box, LJ Shop will judge the situation on a case-by-case basis. Especially in the case of Funko brand products, because of their paper/cardboard packaging, a return at our expense will not be possible if the defect is deemed minimal by LJ Shop.

If LJ Shop deems the defect of the box to be substantial, we will offer you a product exchange or a partial or full refund.

LJ Shop will be the sole arbiter of severity in the event of a damaged product box.

IMPORTANT: All packaging complaints must contain:

1. Photo of the outside of the package

2. Photo of the inside of the package upon opening (with packing materials)

8c – In the event that the customer notices damage to the product ordered, LJ Shop undertakes to reimburse the cost of returning the goods, if applicable. Also we will offer the customer a new product, a voucher for the same amount or a cash refund. You must notify us within 48 hours of receiving your order.

You also have 48 hours following the sending of our shipping confirmation email to notify us of any other issues.

8d- Funko products are mass-produced and known to often have small paint defects. LJ Shop will judge the situation on a case-by-case basis, but if the defect is minimal, no refund or exchange will be possible.

8e- If following a return you are no longer eligible for the gift of the respective order, the gift must be returned with the return.

IMPORTANT: Before returning a product you must write to info@ljshop.ch mentioning the reason for return. If you return a product without having written to us before, the return will not be considered.

Once your request has been analyzed and approved, you will receive a return from us with the address for returning the goods and they must be returned within 7 days.

9 – Responsibility

The seller, in the online sales process, is only bound by an obligation of means; its responsibility cannot be engaged for damage resulting from the use of the Internet network such as loss of data, intrusion, virus, service interruption, or other involuntary problems. Regarding intellectual property, all elements of the LJ Shop site are and remain the exclusive intellectual property of LJ Shop.
